With over 80 years of experience creating footwear for the mountains, LaSportiva has got the climbing shoe completely dialed.. anyone who's climbed in a pair will certainly agree. Durable materials, the stickiest rubber compound and eye catching aesthetics characterize their diverse range of mountain sport footwear. No matter what your sport, foot size or fit preference is, they have a shoe for you. I exclusively use the incredible Solution for steep climbing, and the Miura VS for technical edging. Right from the backyard of the timeless Smith Rock, Oregon, Metolius has been core since day one. With safety as their chief concern, Metolius is consistently improving real-life safety and usability via rigorous R and D. From bomber cams to cushy crashpads, Metolius makes products for one thing- climbing. I use the Inferno Quickdraws on many-a-sport outings and I like to balance the Mastercams with a set of Ultralight TCUs when I'm plugging gear.
MAXIM ROPES
Maxim has been proudly manufacturing the Industry's most durable ropes out of New England for decades. Their experience in creating ropes, matched with the constructive feedback from one of the best and most diverse climbing teams, equates to a hell of a product. The Pinnacle 9.5 is extremely sturdy and handles wonderfully. Keep your eyes peeled for the newly released Airliner 9.1 - a skinny rope that puts up with ridiculous abuse. I've trusted Climb On! as my go-to skin rehab since I first started climbing.
